CM Punk's crusade against John Cena took an unexpected turn on Raw as he aligned himself with The Nexus, obliterating Cena and seemingly seizing control of the armbanded rebels "under new management."

While it appears after last night's RAW that Barrett is gone from Nexus, there's been no confirmation on his status. Its possible that he may end up on SmackDown. CM Punk seems to be really looking forward to take over Wade Barrett position as the Nexus Leader.

The CM Punk & Nexus affiliation is intriguing. There is strength in numbers and it certainly puts the 'hero,' John Cena, in an uphill struggle. Punk is excellent both in the ring and on the mic and its interesting to look forward on the Cena-Punk scenario plays out over time.
Looks like Cena-Punk could theoretically be a solid WM27 attraction with CM Punk leading the Nexus.

Due to Barrett's loss in the match, he has been banished from The Nexus and CM Punk is officially the leader of the group. CM Punk offered the Englishman his opportunity to compete in the Steel Cage Match. Were Barrett to win, he would remain leader of The Nexus. However, were he to lose, he would be banished from the group forever.

I hate the fact that CM Punk is the New Leader of The Nexus. Wade should still be Leader of The Nexus in my opinion. Wade could have probably won that match if CM Punk have never came out to offer his false services to help Barrett win the match. But as seen of this past SmackDown, Barrett is most likely on the SmackDown roster -_-

It seems like Wade Barrett has traded to smackdown to continue his future there after losing the triple threat #1 contender ship for the WWE title in a steel cage match on RAW.....!!!
I feel CM Punk can take Nexus to the next level coz CM Punk has a good mic skill and good in-ring performance....-)
Maybe thts the reason why CM Punk was put the be The New Leader of Nexus in the 1st place....!!!

Wade Barrett is being advertised to face Big Show on upcoming SmackDown live event in Lexington, Kentucky, replacing Alberto Del Rio.
Looks like Wade Barrett may end up being on SmackDown roaster & officially done with Nexus.
Wade Barrett also has made his SmackDown debut by attacking The Big Show on this week Smackdown show.

It's just hard that Wade is just not Leader of The Nexus anymore. And it hurts to see and hear that. And I honestly think Wade Barrett's mic skills are just as good as CM Punk. Why do you think WWE made him Leader of The Nexus in the first place. But we'll see if CM Punk can prove my opinion wrong or not. But for now, Wade Barrett is the true Leader of The Nexus in me opinion so far.

Well.......Wade Barrett is not in the same league as CM Punk in the 1st place...The matter of fact is, CM Punk is a 3 times World Heavyweight Champion & also the the 2 time winner of the money in the bank at wrestlemania....!
So its not fair to compare both Punk & Barrett since Punk has more credits than Barrett....!!!
Lets not forget that CM Punk was also a leader in his SES faction....!

Okay fine, you do win the argument about Punk and Barrett not being in the same league. And so damn what about Punk being Leader of a failing Faction! Nexus own all of SES when they made their debut, or have you forgotten about that. You do have to admit that Barrett did manage a Faction a lot longer than Punk has. And that's a fact mate.

Of course I will never forgot that Nexus debut was so impactful & they are really dominating faction during that time.....!!!
U r rite that Barrett manages the Nexus faction for a longer time compare to CM Punk leading the SES Faction...!
But CM Punk can lead Nexus to the next level, since CM Punk is a former 3 times World Champion & well establish superstar in the WWE...!
So its pretty good to see someone like CM Punk to be the leader in this powerful faction......!

Okay Scricena, I'll let you have this one. But I'll leave it to the opinions of the WWE Universe to decide who is truly a better Leader. Because CM Punk's accomplishments are self-accomplishments. No Partnered accomplishments. He is not a Former WWE Tag team Champion. Neither is Barrett but Barrett has great Leadership skills obviously.

Hold down a second Lane, CM Punk has held the World Tag Team Champions before.....!
I remember watching him holding the World Tag Team Championship alongside with his partner Kofi Kingston at the year of 2008.....!
CM Punk has accomplish most of the important Championship in the WWE tht is the IC Champion, ECW Champion, World Tag Team Champion & The World Heavyweight Champion.....!
CM Punk accomplishment in the WWE is almost like making him the most establish wrestler in the WWE maybe in the near future of his wrestling career....!

Oh yeah! Okay! I do remember him holding the World Tag Team titles back then. Okay you win. But I still think Barrett is a better Leader than Punk so far. No matter was he has accomplish. On this past RAW, Punk has proved no better Leadership than Wade Barrett so far.

Slater and Gabriel were apparently kicked out of CM Punk's Nexus this past Monday on RAW after they couldn't accept their initiations.
Punk's Nexus now consists of himself, Husky Harris, David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty.

A new Nexus faction was formed at last night's WWE SmackDown tapings as Ezekiel Jackson, Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater joined Wade Barrett on WWE's blue brand. The group beat Big Show down after his match with Barrett.
WWE has been teasing Jackson's SmackDown debut for a while now but there was no indication that he would be aligning with Barrett.

Since Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel were apparently kicked out of CM Punk's Nexus on Monday Night Raw. They quickly join hands with their former Nexus leader Wade Barrett & Ezekiel Jackson on last night Smackdown tapings.
As a result of this action, Nexus Faction has splits into two that leads Punk's Nexus now consists of himself, Husky Harris, David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty while Barrett's Nexus is made up of himself, Ezekiel Jackson, Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel.

hi guys,,,
The latest assault of CM punk on Cena definitely means that the CM Punk is soon going to join Nexus. His eyes must be on the leadership of the Nexus. In my view that the English man Wade is far more better as leader as compares to CM Punk.He already destroys the image of Straight edge society.
at least when punk fights he fights one on one not like wade 10 on 1

You got the right point dude.....:)
Whn Punk vs Cena on this week's Monday Night Raw has proven tht CM Punk has taken Cena to the maximum limit....!!!
I dont think Barrett can stand to long in the ring with Cena like wht Punk did....!
CM Punk vs John Cena was also a great match tht took part on this weeks RAW....both of them really shows wht they got....!

New" Nexus leader CM Punk's prophecy was fulfilled when an unidentified assailant aided The Straight Edge Superstar in securing an unscrupulous disqualification victory over John Cena, who fell at the might of the "N"-labeled group's newest member.

The man who appeared on the apron tonight at the end of RAW to distract John Cena in his match with CM Punk was FCW Heavyweight Champion Mason Ryan.
Ryan appeared to be aligning himself with CM Punk until he laid Punk out with a big boot. Ryan then lifted up John Cena and laid him out with a big side slam.
Punk then got back in Ryan's face and they had a staredown. Ryan bowed to one knee in front of Punk and raised his fist. Punk then put the Nexus armband on Ryan, welcoming him to the group.

Following Randy Orton's punt kick to Husky Harris on RAW, WWE has announced that the Nexus member is out of action indefinitely.
WWE is hyping a response from CM Punk for the kick on next Monday's RAW.
There has been speculation that Husky, despite his talent, isn't going over so well with WWE officials because of his size and look. Some are wondering where Husky will fit into things if a 3-on-3 match with Nexus vs. The Corre takes place at WrestleMania.
