RAW closed with a very entertaining and surprising ending after a luckluster viewers choice concept. Below is the coverage from our result section with details on what went down:

John Cena vs. CM Punk w/ Serena and Luke Gallows

Cena and Punk lock up and Punk backs off early on. The fans are various on John Cena. The majority of them gave him a huge cheer during his entrance, but Miami then gave him a hard time yelling "you can't wrestle." Punk and Cena circle each other a lot and although Cena was on top early, Punk does well to get two early near falls on the WWE Champion. Punk slows the pace down with a submission, but Cena gets out of it to attempt an STF, but Punk is too close to the ropes. Cena tries to get momentum, but Luke Gallows trips Cena as Cena runs toward the ropes and we go to a commercial break.

When we return we see that Punk has Cena in a headlock. Cena though tries to put on an Attitude Adjustment. Punk gets out of it and the match continues. Again the fans are split, some boo and some cheer as Cena gets momentum, floors Punk and performs the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Out on the ramp comes NXT winner Wade Barrett. He and Cena eye each other whereas at ringside through the crowd come the all the runners up from the NXT series - but they attack Punk and the SES. Barrett makes his way to the ring and he gives a nod and the NXT guys all get in the ring to attack John Cena! Justin Gabriel, Daniel Bryan, Wade Barrett - all the NXT guys then do a number on everybody. They take the Champion out, drop to ringside to attack Matt Striker, Lawler and Cole. Even Justin Roberts got floored and then they begin dismantling the ring. The fans are stifled as even the ring-ropes have come off their hinges and we have no commentary as we witness the NXT (all wearring 'N' yellow and black armbands) guys continue their attack on CM Punk and mainly John Cena. Wade Barrett does his signature move, Justin Gabriel does his 450 splash and eventually after what's been a maulling of the entire RAW 'set' as well as the Champ, the NXT guys finally leave. We are left to see the wreckage from this car crash. Medics, doctor's and security come out to help Cena, the ringside crew and what's left of the referee. We're then shown fans and their reactions and close-up shots of the carnage at ringside. The WWE Champion is put on a stretcher and in a neck brace.

Here is a YouTube video of the NXT Season 1 Invasion!

And here is Backstage News on the NXT Invasion!

- The NXT Invasion last night on RAW left us with more questions then answers. Such as why did Michael Cole escape the attack? does Vince McMahon have anything to do with causing chaos on RAW for new GM Bret Hart? and what is the NXT Rookies motive for the attack?

- It should be noted WWE is looking to turn Cole heel and this could be a starting point for them by revealing he had a part to play in orchestrating the attack.

- Vince McMahon, Stephanie and Michael Hayes praised the NXT season 1 Rookies for putting over the angle well on RAW and have been impressed with the NXT Bryan vs. Cole storyline. There is defiantly going to be a bigger emphasis on NXT season 2 in the coming weeks.

Haha glad to see a fellow WWE Veteran fan. It would be awesome if WWE could have it's Attitude Era & Mid Era personality back! Maybe we can see more Hardcore stuff next Monday on RAW, and not that PG crap!

NXT Invade Former Stomping Ground - Miz & Christian Attacked!

The NXT invasion storyline continued at last night's WWE developmental show in Florida. The main event was scheduled to be The Miz and Daniel Bryan vs. Christian and Heath Slater but that didn't happen. The Miz's music played before the match but nobody came out. Christian came out next and talked about what happened on RAW, then called out Heath Slater. Slater talked about how everything was good to start off on NXT but then Christian wouldn't give him the answers so they lost the competition.

Daniel Bryan then ran out and attacked Christian from behind. The Miz came down next and fought off the Rookies with Christian. Miz proposes that they do a Pros vs. Rookies match. Miz cut a babyface promo with Christian and worked the match as a face.

The ending came when Miz and Christian were about to hit their finishers on the Rookies. All of the Season 1 Rookies rushed the ring and beat down Miz and Christian. The Rookies tore down the FCW ring before Bryan kicked Miz in the head and Slater hit the Killswitch on Christian. The Rookies left with the Pros laid out.

MAJOR SPOILER: Who Will Be the Leader of the NXT Faction?

According to sources within WWE, it is being suggested that Chris Jericho may be the one revealed as the leader of the NXT faction; however, due to Jericho hosting the new ABC network game show Downfall and with WWE not being very happy with the situation, plans may change.

There is also said to be speculation that Triple H will be revealed as the faction's leader when he returns, but as of right now, the idea is that Jericho may be the one revealed as the leader of the NXT faction.

We MUST stress that at this point in time, this report cannot be officially confirmed, but stay connected to WrestlingValley.org for all of the latest updates.

i feel chris jericho should be the leader for the NXT faction coz his continuous losing streak on RAW frm week to week can be the factor for him to lead this NXT faction and can be the master mind behind the NXT invasion on monday night RAW! its great to see jericho to lead the NXT faction...this can be the plus point for the NXT invasion storyline!:)

I agree with you on all of that Sricena. Chris Jericho is a heel and he has been losing a lot lately. But putting Jericho as Head Leader of the NXT Season 1 Rookies, is bloody brilliant! Plus I can picture Jericho as the NXT's Leader! And of course Wade Barrett is in 2 Command.

why chris jericho, daniel bryan is just fine.

hey, maybe it is triple h turning heel , and NXT is 2010 version of evolution.

Nah, I still think Chris Jericho should be Leader of the NXT Season 1 Rookie. Because Triple H needs to stay Face to get revenge on the on of RAW's Top Heels Sheamus.

NXT Attack Vince McMahon on RAW!

Below is a section from our live RAW coverage which details the events that lead to the NXT beat down of Vince McMahon:

John Cena vs. Sheamus

Special Referee WWE Championship match

For some unexplained reson, Mr McMahon is not actually the referee in the ring. Sheamus begins the match on top as the fans are very much in Cena's corner. Sheamus floors Cena and gets a couple of early near falls. We then hear the audience vary with their chants. Some chanting 'Lets Go Cena' against others who are saying 'Cena Sucks!' Sheamus is on top as we cut to commercials.

As we come back we see both competitor's quite hurt as Michael Cole tells us that Mr McMahon is the Special Guest Referee at ringside for this main event for the WWE Championship. Cena gets on top for a moment, but Sheamus gets him down and gets another near fall. Sheamus seems very much in control again as Jerry Lawler says that Cena he thinks Cena hasn't been the same since the first initial attack from the NXT seven. Sheamus goes at Cena, but Cena hits him with a reverse head butt. Cena looks like he's turning the match around but then he and Sheamus collide in the middle of the ring as both superstars go for clotheslines. They get up at the count of Eight and Cena goes for the Attitude Adjustment. Sheamus gets out of it, floors Cena and gets a near fall. After some time John Cena is back up and he gets himself going with trademark shoulder blocks from off the ropes and then Cena hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle! Cena picks Sheamus up for the Attitude Adjustment, but again Sheamus gets out of it and manages to hit the Irish Curse backbreaker as the match again turns tides. The two of them go at it and Sheamus has control has he has Cena at ringside and he whips him into the steel stairs. Sheamus rolls Cena back into the ring and then gets another Two count on the pin attempt. Sheamus is frustrated now as he finds it a struggle to put Cena away. Sheamus then goes ringside, sets up the stairs along the walkway and brings Cena out of the ring to send him head first into the stairs. Sheamus then gets Cena back in the ring to hit his patented big boot on John Cena. Sheamus taunts toward the fans only for the NXT guys to come out and chase Sheamus out the ring. The NXT guys then take John Cena's limp body and send him over the announcer's table. Skip Sheffield then tips the table on top of Cena. We then see Vince McMahon enter the ring and invite the NXT guys in. McMahon says that he was the one behind the whole NXT thing - especially the attack on Bret Hart. McMahon brags as the crowd boo, but then gues what... the NXT guys circle Vinnie Mac and they pounce on him! Sheffield hits a devastating clothesline, Barrett does his signature and Gabriel goes up top to perform the 450 splash on the Chairman of World Wrestling Entertainment. A pocket of the fans are chanting 'N-X-T' as Monday Night RAW closes to the befallen Vincent Kennedy McMahon.

WWE NXT Rookies Interrupt Main Event at WWE House Show

During a Tag Team Steel Cage Match at last night's Monday Night RAW house show in Erie, PA that featured John Cena and Randy Orton taking on Edge and WWE Champion Sheamus, the season one WWE NXT rookies again made their presence felt by interrupting the match and attacking Orton and Cena. Edge and Sheamus managed to escape the ring.

As the NXT rookies beat down Cena and Orton, Evan Bourne and Yoshi Tatsu attempted to make the save, but were beaten down.

Mark Henry then rushed to the ring, bringing a squad of RAW Superstars with him. They entered the cage and started beating down the NXT rookies until they were chased off - all except for Michael Tarver, who was left in the ring with Orton and Cena. The rookies then returned to the ring, and the brawling continued.

The segment ended with Cena and Orton getting the upper-hand on the rookies, and the two embraced afterward.

Update on WWE's Nexus Stable

There are reports that the members of WWE's new Nexus stable have been told by company officials to "play the heel role" while out in public. They have been told that they are not allowed to pose for photographs with fans or sign autographs, and that they are to wear the "N" armbands while out at all times.

Nexus stable can contribute more interesting features in the WWE storyline! Assaulting other wrestler one on one like a bunch of WOLF PACK is really violent and can even make greater impact in the up coming future in the WWE! WWE really needs a stable like the Nexus coz it has been long time we missed a stable like this.....

I agree, Nexus is a great name for the stable (since they are NXT S1) and I do also love the ring interrupting. But I will have to disagree with the stable comment. D-Generation X is the most recent stable and they ended at the beginning of 2010.

Indeed, DX was one of the most interesting and hilarious stable in WWE History. And yes, DX has been keeping us entertained for the most part after The Rock & Steve Austin was less around. But the Stone Cold Era is not dead until Stone Cold Steve Austin is dead! I don't care what anyone says! Stone Cold can raise hell in the WWE anytime he wants! And that's the Bottom Line, because Stone Cold said so! Haha but The Rock for the other hand. He can come back anytime he wants I'm sure, it's just that his movie career is holding him back a bit. The Rock is an official WWE Alumni. So there for his Era isn't officially over.

Update on Nexus Faction Storyline

For those that missed this past Monday's edition of Monday Night RAW, it was announced by the show's "anonymous" General Manager via email that all members of WWE's Nexus faction would not be able to compete for any WWE championship until further notice due to the faction's storyline attacks on individuals within the company. Later on in the broadcast, Michael Cole said that they would not be able to compete for a title for the next three months. This could be just a case of miscommunication about the storyline.

For what it's worth, WWE's website now states that Nexus members will not receive any title shots until further notice.
