Mick Foley returned to WWE at this week Wednesday's Raw live event in Dublin, Ireland, thus ending speculation that he would return to the organization following his departure from TNA Wrestling last spring.

He cut a promo and was confronted by The Miz and R-Truth, which led to him officiating a match later in the evening between Awesome Truth and John Cena and John Morrison.

Foley, who had teased a return to WWE in recent weeks, is in the U.K. for a promotional tour. The Ticket Factory, a ticket distributor for WWE's overseas tour, is also advertising Foley for Saturday's show in Manchester and Tuesday's show in Newcastle.

Meanwhile, advertisements in the Boston, Massachusetts area said Foley would be appearing as a Special Guest Referee at the November 14 Raw SuperShow at the TD Garden.

As noted before, Mick Foley returned at the WWE live event in Ireland yesterday to special referee John Cena and John Morrison vs. The Miz and R-Truth.

Foley also appeared after the main event of CM Punk vs. WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio. Awesome Truth came out to cause the DQ by attacking Punk, which brought out Morrison, Cena and Foley for the save. Del Rio ended up taking a GTS, Attitude Adjustment, Starship Pain and a Mr. Socko shot from Foley to end the show.

Mick Foley appeared on Wrestling Voice Radio this week and spoke about returning to WWE last week at a live event from Dublin, Ireland.

When asked about why Foley chose an overseas house show for his big return, Foley said:

"The basic answer is because I just happened to be flying into Dublin the day they were there and my hotel was literally across the street. I called and asked if I could come hang out and it was a lot of fun."

Foley was originally advertised November 14th RAW Supershow from Boston featuring The Rock's return, but says he wasn't surprised when WWE scrapped the idea and decided to keep the attention on The Rock that night.

Foley also said he probably has one big match left in him and named The Miz as the person he'd want to wrestle against.
